Bases Covered Academy offers a baseball skills and instructional academy in the fall of eachyear. This youth academy is specifically designed to teach youngerplayers the fundamental skills of the game of baseball. Our academyincludes skill-specific instructional hitting, fielding and pitchingfor players from 7 to 14 years of age. Our instructional baseballacademy is a six week program that unlike other programs gives theplayers a mix of instruction and actual game time to perfect the skillsthat they have learned during the instruction period. Each sessionwill be three hours consisting of a 1 1/2 hour instruction period and 11/2 hours of game play. All game time will be done from pitchingmachines to help the players gain more confidence at the plate.
It is very important to the staff at Bases Covered Academy tomaintain a quality instruction period for the players. To do so wewill keep the player to instructor ratio to a minimum to maintain aquality baseball program.
